A sport massage is a more specialised type of massage that uses a variety of pressure (often deeper, more intense and focused than conventional massage) to speed up recovery time, and help prevent injury. Sport massage despite the name is beneficial for everyone not just athletes, and the massage will be adjusted according to your needs. A a sport massage is designed to reach deeper into muscle fibres and is more intense than other types of massage, therefore can be uncomfortable at points during the massage. About Me

Growing up I have always been extremely active; competing in cross country events; a keen swimmer, and going to the gym for as long as I can remember. In that time I developed a fascination for anatomy and how the body works. This was further fuelled when I received qualifications in personal training and sport massage, and I decided this is what I was going to pursue as a career. Since then I have done multiple courses to further expand my knowledge and skills. I see massage as a very individualised treatment, no two bodies are exactly the same and therefore should not be treated so. I put extra time and thought towards all treatments to ensure it is tailored to your personal requirements, making the massage as beneficial as it can possibly be for each individual. I believe massage is often underrated considering the myriad health benefits you can receive from frequent massages. Massage can make a difference physically and mentally no matter who you are or what you do.
